Curated Gift Box Business Marigold & Grey Announces 2019 Business Goals

Since we just publicly divulged whether or not we met our 2018 goals, it's finally time to unveil our 2019 goals. It's important for us to push ourselves when goal setting so we can continue to innovating and making gifting stress-free and inspiring for our clients. However, it's also crucial that the goals are actually achievable so we have a realistic shot at accomplishing them and don't give up on goal setting altogether.
Over the past year, we put our usual focus on partnerships on the back burner and made the conscious decision to focus inward instead. We needed this time and space to be able to focus on rebranding, creating a new website and e-commerce shop along with launching an entirely new online collection that more than doubled in size. We needed to focus on reinventing and reestablishing ourselves first before we could make the most of our partnerships. Sure, it was difficult to say no to several amazing requests that came our way but I'm glad we did. The timing is much more right as we head into 2019 just as I had hoped it would be.
Higher End Options
While we have several gifts in the $150+ range, this isn't the bulk of our collection. These higher end gifts are flying off the shelves and we've had numerous requests for higher priced boxes for certain specific occasions. While we just redesigned the entire collection and weren't necessarily looking to add more so soon, we do listen to our clients and therefore, we will be adding to the collection in the first part of this year!
We've learned a lot about gifting over the last 4 years and we're excited to begin sharing more of what we've learned with you! Some will come in the form of traditional blog posts that are educational in nature but we are also aiming to include some video resources as well as free downloads! If there are certain topics that interest you, please feel free to reach out and let us know. Some of this content is still in the early stages so we certainly welcome all suggestions! We want to make sure what we're putting out there is actually useful to you.
Be on the lookout for a rewards program! We love our repeat clients and up until recently, haven't had the best methods for tracking them. Now that we do, we are excited to introduce a program that will let our clients know how much we appreciate them and want them to return to us for their gifting again and again. It's the least we can do!
And since we readily admitted that we fell short in this area in 2018, we are re-committing ourselves to forming an official charitable partnership in 2019. There are so many ways in which we can give back with our business model but a few really do make the most sense and feel right. We will be further exploring these in the hopes of making an announcement not too far into the new year!
We hope you'll come along with us this year and hold us accountable! We love being completely transparent with our goals each year because ultimately the business is to serve our clients.
