Announcement // Marigold & Grey is Moving!

If you follow us on Instagram you may already know that we have some big news. Yup, it's true. We've officially signed a lease on a real studio space! Come September 1st, we're #bustingoutofthebasement and moving into a 3000 square foot warehouse just three miles from where we are now.

The space is currently an antique furniture store and once the current tenants are out, it will be nothing but white cinderblock walls and cement floors. Essentially, a blank slate! It will need some TLC. Okay, maybe a LOT of TLC. But the space is ours and will allow us to do some of the things we've been desperately needing to do including spreading out and becoming more organized. It will also allow us to improve efficiencies by no longer having to carry hundreds of welcome gifts and cases of inventory up and down flights of stairs. We'll be able to further scale the business by being able to hire additional staff when we're ready. Plus, no more having entire pallets of inventory dropped off in my front yard! And arguably the most important of all, this move will finally give me a healthy separation between my work life and home life. Cannot wait!

Here's a sneak peek of the space. The lower-level, left-hand side is ours. Okay, so it's not exactly the prettiest but a few cosmetic changes and we'll have it looking better in no time!

We're currently working through tons of logistics like obtaining estimates from contractors, sourcing large workstation tables, figuring out who to call to get a dumpster, researching how to properly paint a cement floor and tons of other "fun" things like this. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer. So many of you have been with us since the very beginning and we can't wait to share this very special milestone with you!
