The goal for this project was to create feminine, boho and age appropriate welcome gifts for a 23 Layers Bat Mitzvah in Palo Alto, CA. Hospitality was incredibly important to this client and that was reflected not only in their plans for an amazing event but also in their desire to make their out of town guests feel as welcomed and comfortable as possible.

Once we saw the color palette for the event, we immediately knew we just HAD to use clean, fresh, white gift boxes to allow all of the girly shades of pink and purple to immediately pop! Beyond the deluxe white gift box, the gift contents included locally-sourced white cheddar cheese popcorn from Maw & Paw Kettle Corn, organic Gummy Pandas in blackberry hibiscus flavor and dried strawberries from Tony’s Fruit Stand. While these items were fun and delicious and perfect for the overall aesthetic of the gift design, our favorite item of all was definitely the custom cookie in the shape of a boho floral crown! The purple striped sparkling lemonade cans that pulled the entire design together all while offering guests of all ages a refreshing something to sip on. Finishing touches are as important to us as the contents inside. For these custom welcome gifts, 23 Layers designed the most gorgeous welcome booklets complete with the weekend itinerary and TONS of ideas for things to do in the area. We closed the boxes with lavender silk ribbon and a floral gift tag mirroring the floral pattern on the mitzvah invitations.
