A little back story. When you want to have a baby and short of a miracle it isn't going to happen, you tend to avoid all things baby. Over the last year or two, we've had requests come in left and right for a "new mom" gift, yet I ignored them. I would say "we're working on it" or "coming soon" but in reality, it was parked on the back burner. Then something clicked for me. I must always do what's best for the business and the clients we serve even when it's hard. So, we gathered as a team and went into design mode. We began ordering in samples of all things pregnancy and baby to evaluate for quality, aesthetic, usefulness and uniqueness. Oh my goodness, THE most precious baby items began arriving here in the studio and even though it was admittedly tough for me at times, this is honestly my favorite gift design we've ever released.
We curated the Mom-to-Be for both mom AND baby! It's now available in our online shop in three versions: baby girl, baby boy and gender neutral!

For mom, we included small batch and completely organic belly butter. We're also thrilled to announce the inclusion of The Everyday Mother, a baby tracking journal. (More on this in a bit). For baby, a wood teething ring with large silicone beads, a handmade knit bunny lovey for snuggling and an adorable onesie with "and so, the adventure begins."

The contents are tucked neatly inside a natural wood pine box and finished off with a gold foil "congrats" calligraphy tag by Poppy & Scooter and satin ribbon in either ivory, blush or pale blue. Dried eucalyptus is also included for a delicate pop of green.

Okay, more about The Everyday Mother, a beautiful baby tracking journal created by Jackie Mangiolino of Sincerely Jackie Paper! This journal definitely has a story worth telling!

In May of 2016, Jackie and her husband welcomed their first baby, Richard Peter. He weighed 2lbs 2oz, was 14 weeks early, and his birth literally saved Jackie's life. Jackie developed HELLP Syndrome, an extremely rare, potentially fatal pregnancy complication that can only be cured by delivery. The Mangiolino family spent 99 days in the NICU. It was there that The Everyday Mother was born. The Everyday Mother is a beautifully printed baby log for tracking daily essentials - feeding, napping, diapers, and showers for mom (let's be real!). We love Jackie's story and are so inspired by the way she experienced a need, created a beautiful solution and has gone on to share it with others! We're honored to feature The Everyday Mother and love the thought of making the early days of motherhood more manageable for new moms.
