Custom Natural Themed Corporate Retreat Appreciation Gifts With Surprise Elements

To welcome their employees to an interactive retreat and corporate meeting experience, we worked with a gifting client, Nestle, to custom design high quality corporate event welcome gifts that were on-brand for their event as well as the company as a whole. With a thoughtfully curated custom gifting experience, we were able to keep their guests warm, energized and rejuvenated over a multi-date event with gifts to surprise guests and make employees feel appreciated.

Our client wanted custom gifts to enhance their company’s meeting experience and ensure that guests felt valued, delighted, and surprised by such a thoughtful gift design. This type of experiential and activity-based gifting, with thoughtful elements seamlessly weaved throughout, is right in our wheelhouse at Marigold & Grey. To set the tone for the retreat, we chose a wellness themed welcome gift in a natural, organic, but up-scale, aesthetic with muted tones of sage green and taupe and packed each corporate gift with functional and high-quality gifts.

Our goal was to design a thoughtful, high-end corporate event gift that would enhance the client’s meeting experience for employees who were selected for a farm retreat. Each gift set was designed to feel luxurious with contents that recipients would use and enjoy while also being reflective of the company’s brand design aesthetic and the event’s rustic farm location.

The custom welcome gifts started with a luxurious and unique ivory linen hat box as the base container. We packed each box full of wellness and self care themed gifts such as noise reduction earplugs, vitality aromatherapy body oil to promote inner-confidence, energizing protein super powder, and a eucalyptus peppermint shower steamer.  

For comforting keepsakes that guests could use throughout the weekend and take home to enjoy long after the event was over, we included a custom branded cotton apron, a beanie-style hat, a cotton linen therapeutic neck wrap. We topped the gifts off with a sustainable and cozy plaid throw blanket tied with a silk ribbon. In keeping with the environmentally conscious gift theme, each gift included a custom branded gift note with a welcome message printed on flower seed paper for guests to plant once they left the farm.

Branded Surprise Snack Gift Bags

No welcome gift is complete without snacks in our opinion! As an added surprise gift for guests, we worked with the client to custom design a high-end snack bag full of delicious treats to enjoy. In a custom branded jute tote bag with leather handles and their event’s logo on the outside, we included various gourmet snacks, including handmade chips, vegan dark chocolate bar, caramels, almonds and more.  

Our corporate gifting client came to us to custom design gifts that were not only on brand for the company and their event, but also make each guest feel how much they are valued and appreciated. They didn’t want custom corporate gifts that were generic, impersonal and unworthy of the upscale experience they were providing for employees - and we never want that either!

With a luxurious naturally-inspired and functional gift box - and surprise branded snack bag - we listened to our client's vision and custom developed a welcome gift set that was unique to their event and deserving of their guests.
