Established in 2014, Marigold & Grey is an artisan gifting business specializing in custom gift design for weddings and corporate events all while operating a thriving e-commerce platform for lifestyle gifting. We believe that gifting should not only be easy and stress-free for our clients but also well-curated and beautiful at the same time. Through hard work, dedication to our clients, non-stop teamwork, and an eye for design, we have enjoyed significant growth over the last 3 years along with the honor of being featured in publications such as Martha Stewart WeddingsWashingtonian Bride & GroomThe Knot and more.

WE’RE HIRING!

The Position: Studio Assistant

We are currently searching for a highly organized, energetic and detail-oriented Studio Assistant to join our team and work onsite in our Kensington, Maryland studio! The Studio Assistant position is designed to support the CEO with administrative duties as well as regular involvement in the day-to-day operations of the business. This is an entry level position with potential for advancement.

Responsibilities Include:

— Review and answer incoming emails and phone calls

— Manage CEO’s calendar and files

— Data entry and report generation

— Local errands, business related and personal to CEO

— Research for upcoming gift designs, newsletters and blog posts

— Assist with client follow-up

— Assist with gift assembly and delivery

— Assist with shipping, receiving and inventory management

— Special projects as assigned

Must Haves:

— Completed undergraduate degree or degree in progress

— Administrative experience

— Strong organizational and research skills

— Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook a MUST; WordPress and Photoshop a PLUS!

— Ability to travel within the DC/MD/VA area via own transportation for gift deliveries and occasional errands

— Excellent written and verbal communication skills

— A can-do attitude and excellent work ethic

— Upbeat personality

— Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

— A genuine desire to assume a hands-on role and contribute to a growing creative small business

Details:

— 30-40 hours per week

— Monday – Friday

— Paid Vacation & Holidays

— Casual Dress Code
