Corporate Event Custom Welcome Gifts with Mardi Gras Theme

Welcome to New Orleans! For their annual retreat and meeting, we worked with PwC to custom design corporate event gifts for their executives to welcome them to NOLA for a fun-filled weekend. Since this is an annual trip to New Orleans, we’re honored to share two different custom Mardi Gras themed corporate event welcome gifts that we designed for our gifting client.
The goal was to “wow” guests and get them excited for the weekend of activities in New Orleans, but for an added challenge we needed to keep each gift design different enough so that guests attending two years in a row didn’t receive the same welcome gift.
'Llaissez les bon temps rouler' or 'let the good times roll' as we share these corporate event welcome gifts, both with Mardi Gras themes, but designed completely differently from one another from one year to the next.
Custom Mardi Gras Themed Corporate Event Gifts
We worked with our corporate gifting client to create a luxurious and high quality gift concept to welcome clients to their Mardi Gras weekend festivities. The goal was for their clients to be “wow’d” upon receiving the gifts as they checked into their hotel in New Orleans while also keeping the gift design purposeful and well thought out with attention to detail every step of the way.
In designing the gifts, we also took into consideration the client’s brand color palette, logo, and design concept for their event and included a detailed itinerary so that guests knew when to be where throughout the entire weekend.
For this custom Mardi Gras corporate gift curation, we not only aimed for a mix of items to welcome guests to the city but also aimed to provide a sense of relaxation and recovery from the weekend activities. The gift curation included locally-sourced New Orleans treats and, of course, plenty of hydration. The client also wanted to include nice keepsakes for clients to take home following the weekend to remember their trip to New Orleans.
Custom “Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler” Corporate Welcome Gifts
Since this is an annual corporate retreat to New Orleans, we worked with the client a second time to design a totally separate and unique welcome gift design that was still on-brand with the event and the New Orleans location, but different enough so that guests attending for the second time wouldn't feel like they received the same gift again.
For the second custom corporate event gift design, the goal was to create classy, yet vibrant Mardi Gras inspired gift to welcome guests as they entered their hotel rooms upon arrival to their event. We used a classic New Orleans “llaissez les bon temps rouler” gift theme to help get the party started and get guests excited about the weekend festivities that awaited them!
Each custom corporate gift included locally-sourced New Orleans gift contents to give guests a taste and flavor of the city as well as keepsake gift items that were not only NOLA branded and special, but also small enough so that guests to pack and travel home with the gifts at the end of the weekend. We also created custom Mardi-Gras themed itinerary booklets to make sure attendees understood exactly where they needed to be and when in order to keep things stress free.
