Campfire-Inspired Bat Mitzvah Custom Welcome Gift Bags

Grab your hiking boots, and s’more sticks because we’re gathering around the campfire to help celebrate a very special Bat Mitzvah in Washington, DC. To honor her special day and make their hotel guests feel welcomed to DC, we worked with event planners EVOKE to custom-design Bat Mitzvah celebration welcome gifts with a campfire theme. Complete with a mini portable fire pit, these custom event welcome gift bags not only connected their out-of-town guests to the client’s Bat Mitzvah festivities but also gave guests a sense of fun for what was ahead throughout the weekend!
Our goal was to create a cohesive and fun gift to build excitement for our client’s Bat Mitzvah! We wanted her custom welcome gift bags to fit the aesthetic of her special milestone event by staying true to her Bat Mitzvah’s mountain theme and color palette of royal blue, navy blue, grass green, white, and burnt sienna.
To begin, we selected a re-useable jute tote with leather straps tied with a satin navy ribbon. The exterior of the gift bags also featured a custom-branded gift tag with the Bat Mitzvah logo for a personalized touch that helped to set the tone for the celebration.
Inside the custom welcome gift bags, we selected various outdoor and mountain themed gift items to coordinate with the Bat Mitzvah’s theme. We included an artisan trail mix (a necessary requirement for any hike!) as well as all of the ingredients to make-your-own s'mores with a dark chocolate bar, gourmet vanilla bean marshmallows, and locally sourced homemade honey graham crackers. This delectable treat featured a custom event sticker - making the gift even more personalized!
We couldn’t just give guests all of the ingredients for a s’more treat without giving them a way to fully enjoy this campfire staple! For a fun take-home keepsake gift item to be enjoyed by all, we included a mini portable fire pit so that guests could use their gift treats and roast their own s’mores. (The mini fire pit is also TSA-friendly for any guests traveling from out of town on an airplane.)
