Meet our New Studio Studio Concierge, Julie Branitsky

FILED IN: Behind-the-Scenes, M&G Happenings

Posted By: Jamie Kutchman

We are beyond excited to introduce to you our newest team member, Julie Branitsky! Julie Branitsky joins our mighty all-women M&G team as our 'Studio Concierge' and she will be involved in just about all parts of the gifting design process from production to ordering to shipping as well as every step in between. She will be instrumental in coordinating production of our gifting projects, collaborating on custom gift design, ordering gifting elements, engaging with customers and clients and so much more! Julie is not new to the M&G studio and she has lot of experience in all areas of gift production and assembly, which will come in handy as we head into our busy holiday gifting season.

Without further ado, let's hear from Julie in her own words!

Tell us a little about yourself!

I am a local DMV girl, through and through! I was born and raised right here in Potomac, Maryland where I went to school through high school. I am a true home body because right after college I came back to the Bethesda area and started at M&G in custom production that very summer! I am a big lover of all things college football, especially my alma mater Penn State! You can often find me out playing golf and tennis with friends, shopping in Georgetown – my new home base for the time being, trying out new restaurants and wineries, and planning my next big dinner party.

What attracted you to the Studio Concierge position?

I always loved my time back in production, whether it was folding what felt like a million blankets or fighting with wood fill, it was so great being a part of creating important memories for others. As soon as I saw the Instagram post of “We’re Hiring!” I texted Jamie [M&G CEO] because I knew the amazing company she has built. Within moments of getting on Zoom with Jamie, she knew I’d be a perfect fit for the 'Studio Concierge' position!

What were you doing before joining M&G and how do you think it will benefit you in your new position?

I was an elementary school librarian! Through working with children, I learned a tremendous amount about how to iterate and pivot quickly and efficiently!

What do you look forward to about this job?

I am so excited to be in a role that fulfills me creatively! Working on the design side of gifting is something I wanted to do ever since my first few custom builds back in 2020. This role is a wonderful steppingstone in that direction while also learning all of the other necessities for the business.

A favorite celebrity wedding?

The only celebrity wedding that has remained a core memory was The Royal Wedding of William and Kate. I remember watching it at school in my 7th grade math class and just being in awe of how poised and graceful Kate was.

A favorite movie?

So I am not a movie person in the slightest, I cannot even remember the last movie that I watched in its entirety! However, I am a lover of all reality television, especially Below Deck!

A favorite travel destination?

Brussels, Belgium was just such an incredible trip! Between the food, the art, the culture, and of course the chocolate, there was so much to love!

A favorite insta account these days?

My favorite Instagram account is Hailey Bieber! I am obsessed with everything she does and love all of her outfit inspiration!

The best gift you’ve ever given?

An acoustic guitar with a hand painted a case with my then-boyfriend’s favorite album cover on it. This was for his college graduation, and I knew I had to get him something that he would never get on his own. But, I love adding personalized touches to gifts so I couldn’t just get him the guitar, hence the hand painted guitar case.

We hope you enjoyed meeting Julie and learning about her new role. We are just as excited as she is to have her back at team M&G! Stay tuned to our Instagram to see even more behind-the-scenes action of all of our team members. In the meantime, don't miss our new custom gift design galleries where you can explore past projects and be inspired to create your own custom gift design.
