Top 10 Corporate Holiday Gift Box Designs of 2020

Not sure how it's already July but it is, and this means that whether we like it or not, we're talking corporate holiday gifts! Not sure about you but 2021 has flown by and we already find ourselves knee-deep in holiday inquiries for custom gift design as well as beginning to design our Ready-to-Ship Holiday Collection to launch in our online shop in early October. Since it's critical to plan ahead for corporate holiday gifts (and here's why), we figure now is a good time to recap our favorite holiday gift designs of 2020 to offer some inspiration for those of you planning for your own holiday gifts this year! You may recall seeing our 2019 recap here year-end recap of our top client appreciation gifts of 2019 but if not, you can always refer back for additional inspo and ideas. Without further adieu, let's take a look back at the holiday season that was 2020...

Cozy at Home Gift Boxes for Gulf Oil

With Gulf Oil's recently refreshed logo, we really wanted these gifts to not only show off the new logo but also remain true to their iconic branding colors of orange and blue. We opted for a 'cozy at home' concept with branded camping mugs, small batch s'mores flavored marshmallows, hot cocoa mix, a luxury candle, and an on-brand blanket on top!

Baking Themed Gift Boxes for Google

After the difficult year faced by all employees in 2020, Google wanted to send out employee appreciation gifts in the form of an activity that their team members could enjoy at home! We immediately dreamed up a gift box full of items needed to make a homemade batch of cookies. We sourced items in line with Google's bright and colorful branding, and even included custom-made cookie cutters in the shape of the Google logo. Employees were encouraged to share their Google cookies online and with one another for a sense of camaraderie during pandemic lockdown! Other items included custom embroidered aprons, silicone spatulas, cookie mix, frosting, sprinkles, and more. 

Red and Green Gift Boxes for Nature Sweet

Nature Sweet is an example of a brand who has holiday colors as their branding colors year round so naturally we had fun sticking with this bright and lively color combination! We opted for a health & wellness concept and included neck warming wraps, hand sanitizer, vitamin C juice gummies, hand sanitizer, stress relief therapy dough, electronic cleansing wipes, and the best part? Custom cookies in the shape of the vine ripe tomatoes they've come to be famous for!

Sleek and Sophisticated Black and Gold Gift Boxes for Ensemble Health

This is not the first time we've designed corporate holiday gift boxes for Ensemble Health and so each year we are committed to coming up with a design that is unique and different from the year prior while also remaining on-brand. For 2020, we wanted sleek, elegant, and modern so we opted for everything in black, white, and gold. We chose decadent items such as small batch coffee, Compartés chocolate bars, luxury Apotheke candles, branded Yeti tumblers, and a cozy throw blanket on top. We finished the gifts off with gold foil 'happy holidays' gift tags and gold pinecones for an extra festive, yet sophisticated, look!

Wellness-Inspired Gift Boxes for OMS Nashville

It probably comes as no surprise that this 'cozy at home' concept was all the rage in late 2020 when everyone was stuck at home during the pandemic. Our clients requested this concept for holiday client appreciation gifts as well as custom employee appreciation holiday gifts. In this case, our repeat client OMS Nashville gifted wellness and home inspired custom gifts to dentists that refer patients to them throughout the year. We included essential oils and a diffuser, a branded Shinola journal, some sweet treats, and a gorgeous wool throw blanket on top for that cozy touch. These were packaged in custom linen hat boxes in a soft champagne color to show off our client's new branding color palette! 

Simple Joys Inspired Gift Boxes for iHire

Also a repeat client, we worked with iHire to create luxury client gift boxes representing the "simple joys" of the season. We included cozy socks to wear at home during the pandemic, sweet treats, and even a puzzle to help keep people occupied during quarantine. We designed the gifts in blue with pops of orange to remain in-line with their color palette. (Proof that corporate holiday gifts definitely do not have to be red and green! Cozy Kitchen Gift Boxes for JMI Equity

As a spin on the 'cozy at home' theme, we created a 'cozy kitchen' concept for JMI Equity, while remaining 100% true to their branding color palette of navy and neutrals. We included handmade wooden spoons with the most beautiful handmade spoon rests, custom embroidered aprons with their logo, a luxury candle, tea towel, and a pair of logo etched wine tumblers.

Crimson and Gray Luxury Gift Boxes for Asymmetrik

These client holiday gifts for Asymmetrik are another example of the desire of our clients to create decadent, sophisticated gifts for 2020. Again, with such a challenging year, they really wanted to spoil their clients and pamper them as much as possible. We wanted a sleek, elegant, and modern look while also communicating a festive holiday vibe. We opted for a gray and crimson red color palette and focused on a lower number of very high quality items to fill the box.  Contents included luxury boxes candles in a woodfire scent, Neuhaus truffles, etched logo tumblers, and a cozy wool tartan throw blanket on top. The finishing touches and branding were intentionally kept minimal in this design. We did simple 'happy holidays' notecards with their logo appearing only on the inside along with the holiday message. We skipped gifts tags altogether for a more simplistic, modern look, allowing the notecards to remain front and center. 

Fun and Modern Holiday Snack Boxes for Nextiva

These holiday gift boxes for Nextiva were a fun spin on the traditional holiday snack box that so many corporations send out at the holidays! Since we steer clear of cheesy corporate swap at all costs, we aimed to include as many snacks as possible but presenting them in a fresh, fun, modern way! Nextiva provided us with a holiday graphic featuring a cartoon reindeer tjat they wished to use and we built the gifts around that look. Items included small batch hot cocoa, artisan popcorn, chocolate bars, Fatty Sundays chocolate covered pretzels, french toast flavored marshmallows, and even a reusable Stojo coffee cup!

Outdoor S'mores Gift Boxes for SciPlay

Now this is a fun one! Our client SciPlay, a developer of highly popular online gambling apps, wished to create two different gift designs. One design for each of their apps, QuickHit and JackPot Party, to be sent to their most VIP of app users. We knew we wanted to bring forth the same concept for each which was an outdoor s'mores gift box but needed to vary the colors being used in each gift to make sure each was consistent with the branding of each app. We included branded tumblers, mini outdoor bonfire tins, hot chocolate bombs, custom casino-themed cookies, and branded knit caps for their VIP users to keep warm outside!
