Are you interested in corporate event gifting or designing branded gifts for a conference or meeting on behalf of your business? We're answering your top questions about corporate event gifting. Whether you need custom branded swag gifts for a company party or team building retreat, or welcome gifts for an incentive trip or all-hands conference or trade show, we enjoy working with our corporate and business clients to design just the right gift for their corporate event.

If your goal is high quality corporate gifts and branded swag for your event, you're in the right spot and we've got all the answers you need to make this a smooth, stress-free process.

Here are your most frequently asked questions when it comes to corporate event gifts.

How much should I budget for corporate gifting?

Pricing per gift varies widely depending on the gift contents, quality of packaging, and finishing touches. With that said, here are some general guidelines that we often give to our clients.

For corporate welcome gifts that contain mostly snack items and are given at the hotel upon arrival, these usually fall between $50 - $150 each. For occasions commanding a higher level budget such as corporate incentive trips or executive conferences and retreats, these price points soar much higher. We tend to see these fall between $150 and $400 each, and up from there on occasion.

The average cost of corporate gifts can vary depending on several factors, such as the individual items and branding needs.

If gift recipients vary according to gender, age, interests, etc., how do you curate gifts that everyone will appreciate?

Great question and one we get literally all of the time! Most people attending a corporate event appreciate being welcomed with things that make their stay more comfortable such as savory snacks, sweet treats, and even some comforts from home like custom amenity kits.

These usually have universal appeal, and even more so when the snack items are sourced from small, artisan businesses. These small batch items aren’t usually found in the grocery store so they’re not something people are accustomed to seeing everyday so they are inherently more interesting to receive. In addition, I can’t think of anyone who doesn’t like supporting a small business or learning about a new brand to enjoy and even share with others.

When we know the recipient list is widely varied, we take all of these into consideration when coming up with our custom curations!

What are the most popular themes for corporate gifts these days?

Destination-themed gifts for incentive trips (usually to tropical locations!) are always extremely popular, as are any location-specific gift boxes. For more inspiration, you'll appreciate our top incentive trip gift designs of the year.

However, gifts curated according to a very specific theme are also something our clients want from us all of the time. Some recent designs have centered around charcuterie, coffee and tea, office and productivity, cocktails, and even gifts fully in support of small businesses

How much branding should be included in the gift design?

If given full creative latitude, we prefer to design one to two gift components within the gift box, ones that make most sense to take a logo. We also like adding branding to a gift tag and notecard along with the packaging itself from time to time.

Our goal here is to strike the perfect balance between the creativity of a personal gift with the professional polish of a corporate gift. Not branding every single item in the box is the way to achieve this.

Certainly, there are circumstances where branding almost everything makes sense (ie if a client is announcing a rebrand and want their logo front and center) and in these instances, we recommend using the primary logo along with secondary logo versions to keep things interesting.
