For Michaela and John’s wedding in Baltimore at Sagamore Pendry, we had the pleasure of curating custom wedding welcome gifts that beautifully reflected their love story, aesthetic, and the city they love.

Baltimore holds a special place in their story, so we infused subtle local details throughout the gift design, including, of course, that classic Maryland Old Bay flavor. Each gift bag served as both a token of appreciation and a preview of the weekend’s tone as it was packed full of useful treats and keepsakes they could enjoy right away, and long after the wedding was over.

The result was a bespoke wedding welcome gift design that delighted guests upon arrival and beautifully set the stage for a weekend of celebrating at their iconic venue.

A LUXURIOUS FIRST IMPRESSION

Designed along with their wedding planner Katey Clark Creative Weddings, these luxury wedding welcome tote gift bags in a gorgeous green and white toile pattern accomplished their goal to provide a heartfelt way to thank out of town guests for traveling to their wedding, and to set the tone for an unforgettable wedding of celebration.

For their wedding weekend, the couple envisioned gifts that were both practical and artfully designed as a thoughtful blend of function, whimsy, and beauty. Their shared love of art history and architecture inspired a rococo-baroque aesthetic filled with lush florals and rich jewel tones.

We began with a custom printed toile pattern cotton tote gift bag, adorned with an emerald green satin bow and a "thank you" gift tag. This reusable tote bag was a statement piece that was as stylish as it was functional. Guests could easily reuse the wedding welcome tote bag throughout the weekend and long after the wedding was over, making it a perfect balance of elegance and practicality.

A CURATED GIFT EXPERIENCE

Inside each tote bag was a collection of locally inspired treats from Baltimore, and thoughtful touches that felt indulgent yet intentional. A detailed wedding weekend agenda guided guests through the celebrations, from the welcome party to the ceremony and brunch.

Nestled in a velvet pouch was an amenity kit including mini essentials like Advil, mints, and hydration packs to keep everyone refreshed for the festivities. Handcrafted sea salt chips and dark chocolate with strawberries offered sophisticated snacking options that guests could enjoy between events. A sweet meets savory nod to Baltimore was included with the Old Bay infused caramel popcorn, featuring a custom monogrammed label.

Beautifully preserved edible flowers added a whimsical, art-inspired touch with floral lollipops. For a refreshing touch we included two pomegranate flavored iced teas. For some fun games guests received playing cards and a conversation deck.

Every element of these wedding welcome gifts, from the custom labels to the color palette, was chosen to harmonize with the couple’s romantic and artistic vision for their elegant wedding in Baltimore.
