Employee Appreciation Gift Ideas for Quarantine and Beyond

We do a ton of client gifting around here for small, medium, and large sized businesses but since the start of COVID, we've witnessed a shift towards gifts being sent to employees in addition to clients. It's a welcome change and something that has allowed us to get really creative with our clients and help them show gratitude to their team members who are hanging in there and rolling with the punches amidst all of the uncertainty these days.

While most people are thankful to be employed during a time when there are so many people out of work, they are facing still facing their own unique challenges while working from home while juggling work deadlines, household responsibilities, and even having to attempt to simultaneously homeschool their children. Employers know this is stressful and as a result we've been approached by many of them asking for help in sending quarantine care packages to their team members as a pick-me-up to boost company morale.

We also have clients making preparations to reopen post-COVID and we're suggesting 'welcome back to work' gifts as a way of making the return to work a little more exciting and lighthearted. They acknowledge that this transition back may be just as difficult as transitioning away from work towards teleworking a few months ago.

We're excited to share with you a few of our ideas as well as trends we're seeing!

WORK FROM HOME GIFT BOXES

We designed our Werk From Home curated gift box to serve as a great gift to send to employees working at home during COVID. It also makes a great 'congrats on your new job' gift. We're also predicting it to be a top choice for 'welcome back to work' gifts over the coming months as people hopefully (fingers crossed!) begin to be able to return to the workplace.

IMMUNITY BOOST GIFT BOXES

During COVID, we've seen a lot of businesses wishing to send health and wellness focused gifts to try and keep their teams healthy while teleworking at home. Our 'Immunity Boost' gift box has been a top seller.

SELF-CARE GIFT BOXES

Employers are recognizing how hard their teams are working and how stressful these last few months have been with quarantine. A lot of businesses are even looking to send self-care gift boxes to their employees as employee appreciation gifts such as our best selling Relax & Recharge. Our entire Self-Care Collection can be viewed here.

It's really nice seeing this movement towards employee appreciation and recognizing that these last few months have been difficult with layoffs, furloughs, and transitioning staff from working in an office setting to teleworking and then back to the office environment again. If you're looking for employee appreciation gift ideas or even gifts to welcome employees back to the office, reach out here. We'd love to work with you on creating branded gifts specific to your business!
