Roundup // Pets in Weddings

Pets and animals have become an increasingly important part of families, and more and more brides are allowing their pets to be a part of their wedding ceremony. And why not? I know I personally love my golden doodle as much as any member of my family!
Want your beloved best friend, aka your family dog, to be in the wedding? Dress him up and make him an adorable groomsman or if your dog's a girl, make her a bridesmaid!

Okay, so this one might be a little hard to pull of depending on your venue. BUT how cool is this? I'm not sure about y'all but I'm a huge elephant fan and would definitely look into having one at my wedding.

Make a grand entrance into your reception by riding your horse! Is your wedding venue at a farm or in the country? If the answer is yes, consider brining your horse (if you have one) along for the ride.

Dress your dog up and have him/her walk down the aisle right before you make your grand entrance. Or have the flower girl walk him down on a leash if you're worried he might not make it to the alter without getting distracted by all the love and attention he will be receiving on his walk.

I must admit I'm not a bird person but how cute is this groom with his pet parrot? And he matches the flowers perfectly.

If you aren't keen on having your pet participate in the actual ceremony or don't quite trust him/her to have a perfect entrance, just cuddle before hand and give your puppy some love.

Our only suggestion is to make sure this doesn't happen. Although, it would be a great story later on, especially if the photographer catches an image such as this dog chowing down on the wedding cake.
