Top In-Person Corporate Event Gifts of 2021

You may recall seeing our 'top lists' from years prior, but the 2021 landscape of corporate event gifts is different from gifts we have created in the past. Now, we are seeing an increase in personal touches, or gifts that tell a story or evoke a particular message. Essentially, a switch to more personal and thoughtful curation than ever before, designed simply to spark joy in each and every gift recipient. We hope you enjoy this list of some of our favorite designs for in-person corporate events from this past year, and maybe even use these examples as inspiration for your own corporate event gifts!

Nightly Room Drop Incentive Trip Gifts for Samsara 

When Samsara asked us to create three distinct gifting concepts, one for each night of their annual corporate incentive trip to Hawaii, we immediately envisioned useful, yet luxurious gifting concepts filled with items recipients might have forgotten to pack or wouldn't purchase for themselves. Each design featured a curation of both branded and unbranded items that recipients could use on the trip or bring home as keepsakes, and each gift was beautifully packaged in an equally special custom vessel.

With a "Fun in the Sun" concept to kick things off on night one, each gift was packaged in a custom embroidered tote bag and contained beach essentials such as guava-mango sunscreen, hydrating facial mist, a handwoven beach towel, and an underwater camera perfect for the pre-planned snorkeling excursion later that day! These gifts certainly set the tone for a high-end and indulgent trip.

On night 2 of Samsara's incentive trip, each guest had a choice between 'stay' or 'play.' As such, we created a dual-concept gift that included all necessary items for either a day on the golf course or a day of indulgent spa treatments! It was important that these gifts be appropriate for either activity as guests could make their selections at the last moment. To accommodate, each gift included items such as a Callaway golf hat, a custom etched water bottle for hydration. a silicone travel towel (perfect to attach to any golf or beach bag), a handwoven chair cover/wrap, an SPF50 sunscreen stick, facial recovery lotion for some after-sun skincare, and a package of coconut exfoliating cubes to revitalize tired sun-soaked skin. Each gift was packaged in a luxe magnetic-closure gift box, and featured custom notecards and gift tags for some subtle brand recognition. 

The final gift concept for Samsara's tropical incentive trip getaway was the "Rest and Recharge" concept, meant to send guests off on a safe journey home. Each gift was packaged in a custom branded Dagne Dover backpack (perfect for travel!), and included a branded dual-device charging pack, a custom-etched travel mug, Hawaiian coffee beans as a keepsake, pineapple rum cashew trail mix for an in-flight snack, and of course, hand sanitizer, which is critical for any flight these days!

10-Year Milestone Gift Boxes for Rising Tide Interactive

With a milestone of 10 years in business to celebrate, Rising Tide Interactive wanted gifts that were both celebratory in nature, but also reflective of their Washington, DC roots! These gifts included a mixture of contents that were both fun and festive (think a miniature bluetooth speaker and champagne Pop Rocks popcorn), and also from small businesses in and around DC. Custom milestone cookies, honey grahams, a linen notebook with custom bellyband and a cherry blossom scented candle were all sourced from local small businesses that recipients could experience for the first time. Packaged in luxe magnetic-closure gift boxes with custom branded notecards and silver foil gift tags, these gifts were anything but ordinary! 

Brand Acquisition Custom Gift Boxes for Etsy 

To spread the news of their recent acquisitions, Etsy commissioned these very special "cheers to you" themed gifts showcasing their new family or brands. With cocktail-inspired items representing the location of each new brand partnership, these gifts included something for everyone to find familiar. Embroidered cocktail napkins showcasing each new brand partner were positioned on top of all interior contents so they would be seen and appreciated as a taste of what was beneath! 

Attendee Appreciation Gifts for Congressional Black Caucus Institute

To express appreciation for those attending the annual gathering, The Congressional Black Caucus Institute worked with our design team to develop these gifts to give to each meeting attendee. Since the recipients were VIP attendees who were used to receiving gifts somewhat frequently, we strived to ensure that each and every item inside these gifts would be luxe and unique. Items included a DC-based soy candle, gourmet chocolate pearl cookies, a face mask and hand sanitizer combo, small-batch coffee beans, and a luxe handwoven throw blanket to round out each gift box with a touch of softness! Navy boxes with branded notecards and gift tags reinforced branding colors without overly branding the interior contents of each gift.
