Burger-Meets-Beach Themed Custom Corporate Welcome Gifts

We recently partnered with our friends at Simply Splendid Events to design a luxury welcome gift for Whataburger’s corporate incentive trip to the stunning Rosewood Resort at Kona Village in Hawaii. The goal? A gift that honored Whataburger’s signature orange branding while embracing the laid-back luxury of the island setting.

 And, of course, creating a warm "Aloha" moment for every guest upon arrival.

Welcome To Paradise Inspired Gift Boxes

From the moment guests stepped into their rooms, we wanted the gifting experience to feel elevated, thoughtful, and completely unique to the occasion. Our design team curated a collection of hand-selected items that struck a balance between tropical relaxation and on-brand sophistication.

Set inside a sleek white magnetic keepsake box, each gift was packed with beachside essentials and Hawaiian-made treats designed to help recipients unwind, refresh, and settle into the island mindset.

We started with a bold orange and white striped Turkish towel, perfect for a day at the beach or lounging poolside, while also highlighting the brand’s signature color palette. Wanting to highlight the best Hawaii has to offer, we included a locally made exfoliating loofah soap, dried pineapple slices for a sweet treat, and a tropical-scented and locally-made candle to bring a bit of the island back home. 

For a bit of self-care after a day in the sun, we added an after-sun spray and a hydrating hand cream. No trip to Hawaii would be complete without a signature cocktail, so we stocked each gift box with a set of two Mai Tai flavored drink mixers. 

As a personalized finishing touch, we included a custom gift note card and a matching branded gift tag that perfectly blended the Hawaiian setting and Whataburger’s corporate branding. A satin ribbon in a vibrant orange tied each gift together for a visual cue to the brand’s aesthetic.
