Meet our New Team Lead for Custom Gift Production, Daisy Chuku

We are so excited to introduce you to our newest M&G team member, Daisy Chuku. Daisy joins us as our 'Team Lead for Custom Gift Production.' We love working with our clients to custom design and curate gifts to meet their goals and Daisy will be a huge part of that mission to build and ship our custom gifts. We have many custom gift designs that come through our studio from wedding welcome gifts to business gifts to corporate event gifts, we need Daisy's leadership to help our team bring the custom gifts to life for our clients.

Tell us a little about yourself:‌

I have lived in Maryland my whole life, MOCO has been my home forever. My family loves to get together frequently for big dinners and intense UNO games. I have always loved traveling with my family every summer and going away for several weeks to a new destination. Nowadays I enjoy hiking and long walks when the weather is nice, journaling, and going to the movie theatre.

What attracted you to the 'Team Lead for Custom Gift Production' position?‌

I enjoy being in an environment where I can grow independently and also work collaboratively with others in a creative environment.

What were you doing before joining M&G and how do you think it will benefit you in your new position?‌

I was an early college student, working in a fast-paced learning environment. I think it helped me learn to communicate properly with others to work towards an end goal.

What do you look forward to about this job?‌

I look forward to seeing all the new and different gifts that we can create with our team. 

A favorite celebrity wedding?‌

The Paytas-Hacmon wedding. Trisha Paytas had multiple dresses including a black wedding dress and it was stunning.

A favorite movie?‌

Picking a favorite movie is too hard for me but anything scary is in my league. I can definitely pick a favorite show and that would be Alice in Borderland on Netflix.

A favorite travel destination?‌

I traveled down to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee with my family and it quickly became my favorite travel spot. We did fun activities everyday and the weather was perfect.

A favorite Instagram account these days?‌

The only account I follow closely is @Netflix so I can see if any new shows or movies are coming out soon.

The best gift you’ve ever given?

For Mother’s Day, I gave my mother an assortment of gourmet popcorn along with body scrubs. Those are two things that she likes a lot but would never buy for herself.
