Meet our New Studio Studio Concierge, Anne Martin

Say hello to the newest face on our M&G team, Anne Martin! We’re thrilled to welcome Anne as our new Studio Concierge, supporting every corner of our fast-paced gifting world. Whether she’s lending a hand with customer service, answering your questions, or assembling beautiful gifts, Anne is already an essential part of our all-women team. If you give us a call, there’s a good chance you’ll hear her friendly voice, so don’t forget to say "hi" and give her a warm welcome!

Now, let’s turn it over to Anne and hear from her in her own words...

Tell us a little about yourself:

I was born and raised in Rockville, Maryland, and have always loved the proximity to DC and being able to always discover fun new places and activities! I love music and am always looking for my next favorite artist, though my top two will always be Taylor Swift and Noah Kahan.

When I’m not singing my heart out (terribly, might I add) at a concert, you can find me doing one of these things: trying out a new recipe, finding a new happy hour in the city with friends, catching a Nationals game with my family, or snuggling on the couch with my cat, Lucy, while binge-watching something on Bravo or HGTV!

What attracted you to the Studio Concierge position?

I love the idea that every day is different and there are so many opportunities to learn about all facets of the business. Getting to experience firsthand each part of the process, from first inquiry to shipping, is really exciting!

What were you doing before joining M&G and how do you think it will benefit you in your new position?

I began at Marigold & Grey as a seasonal production assistant, so getting to see how the business functions at its busiest time has built a great foundation for the Studio Concierge role. Before that, I was working in childcare, which taught me a lot about time management and organization – two skills that I will take into this position confidently!

What do you look forward to about this job?

Being surrounded such a talented and intelligent group of women with very diverse backgrounds is very inspiring for me, so I’m really looking forward to learning all I can from the entire team!

A favorite celebrity wedding?

Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark from Vanderpump Rules. Everything they did was so elegant and sleek, and a beautiful Italian backdrop just tied it all together!

A favorite movie?

Elf! My family always makes sure to watch it at least once each year around the holidays, but it’s a classic regardless of the season! I’m not a huge movie person otherwise, but some of my favorite shows include Gilmore Girls, The West Wing, and New Girl.

A favorite travel destination?

Maine! Something about coastal New England has always spoken to me, and I visited Cape Elizabeth, Maine on a New England road trip in the fall of 2022, and instantly fell in love. It was such charming and cozy little coastal town; I can’t wait to go back someday!

A favorite insta account these days?

I love following any and all music related accounts. One of my favorites is @amplifyhervoice, an account dedicated to advocating for gender equality in the music industry. A couple of honorary mentions include @chatsandreacts and @fuegostine for music reviews and playlist curations!

The best gift you’ve ever given?

I love to gift experiences when I can! My mom loves coffee, so I once gifted her an online coffee tasting class and she had a blast. I also gifted my sister tickets to tour Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, since she loves anything spooky, and we both really enjoyed taking a day trip to do that together.
