Pink and Purple Boho Welcome Boxes for Pal Alto Mitzvah with 23 Layers

Perhaps you might recall the last custom welcome gift project with did with planning and design firm 23 Layers...locally-inspired, unisex gift crates for a corporate event at Cavallo Point in Sausalito, California. Well, the gifts we're sharing with you today have California in common but that's about it! These are hardly unisex. Instead they're ultra feminine curated welcome boxes for a boho themed bat mitzvah in Palo Alto.

Once we saw the color palette for the event, we immediately knew we just HAD to use clean, fresh, white gift boxes to allow all of the girly shades of pink and purple to immediately pop! Beyond the deluxe white gift box, the gift contents included locally-sourced white cheddar cheese popcorn from Maw & Paw Kettlecorn. We also sourced organic Gummy Pandas in blackberry hibiscus flavor, which of course, happened to be in the most perfect shade of purple! Beyond those two snacks, we also fell in love with the dried strawberries from Tony's Fruit Stand, another locally sourced business to California. It was important to us to include healthy snacks in addition to some not-the-most-healthy options.

While these items were fun and delicious and perfect for the overall aesthetic of the gift design, our favorite item of all was definitely the custom cookie in the shape of a boho floral crown! Sugar Studio did an amazing job interpreting our vision for this and we couldn't be more thankful! We also loved the purple striped sparkling lemonade cans that pulled the entire design together all while offering guests of all ages a refreshing something to sip on.

Finishing touches are as important to us as the contents inside. For these custom welcome gifts, 23 Layers designed the most gorgeous welcome booklets complete with the weekend itinerary and TONS of ideas for things to do in the area (Most everyone was flying in from out of town!). We closed the boxes with lavender silk ribbon (Torn & Tied) and a floral gift tag (Just Write Studios) mirroring the floral pattern on the mitzvah invitations.

It's no secret that we typically do gift designs with neutrals and more subdued color palettes so naturally, we were over the moon to be able to work with 23 Layers on this project and to play with some bright colors for a change! Confession. We may have even been giggling and laughing in the studio as if we were all little kids again.
