Custom Client Gifts for DC Wedding Blog United With Love

FILED IN: Client & Corporate Gifts

Oh my goodness. When I finished up a recent gift build doing custom client gifts for my friend Juli, owner/founder of United with Love, I ended up with a severe case of gift envy. By the way, I never knew gift envy was a thing, but I'm here to tell you it definitely is. It may even warrant its own hashtag!

Let's start with the color palette, shall we? Juli requested soft grey and light orange (my faves!!) with a pop of pink to mirror her branding. Next, the packaging. I opted to wrap the gift in a cheerful, sweet tea towel rather than use traditional packaging such as a box or basket which made me fall in love even more. The contents were simple and sweet...a box of artisan cookies and unique drink. (Not getting TOO specific here because I don't want to give away any surprises.) I finished them off with satin ribbon and a gift tag with "thank you so much from United with Love" in gorgeous modern calligraphy by Poppy & Scooter.

We found boxes that would fit the gifts perfectly so she could easily just pop one in the mail each time she had the occasion to send a quick "thank you". Here they are, headed out the door to Juli!

Because these ended up looking quite similar to Marigold & Grey branding, I'm now super inspired to design my own "thank you" gifts. It dawned on me that I spend so much time designing for others that I haven't sat down to figure out my own client gifts. But thanks to a serious case of #giftenvy, I'm motivated and full steam ahead!

Thanks Juli and United with Love for the opportunity!
