Custom Wedding Welcome Boxes for a St. Regis DC Wedding

I haven't been in business too long but already convinced there's a strong correlation between blogging frequency and wedding season. Well, at least that's been the case around here. It's been nothing but custom gift design and gift assembly galore! While this is definitely what I want as a new and growing business owner, I still feel like a slacker when I don't blog several times a week.
Today, I thought I'd break the drought and share a gift design that was created by a bride-to-be using our website. I do so much custom design work that it's always fun to see what brides create for themselves using the create-your-own-gift tool on the Marigold & Grey website.
For packaging, our client chose sturdy, white gable boxes, silver satin ribbon and then customized a sticker using the website.
And speaking of silver satin ribbon, this is what a sea of seventy welcome boxes looks like after hours of ribbon tying!
This was a DC wedding so the bride opted for cookies with a cherry blossom design along with a fresh berry "Cuppie" (cupcake and pie hybrid) from Pie Sisters in Georgetown. The couple also opted for a subtle nod to Virginia and New York with "Virginia is for Lovers" peanuts and Baked in Brooklyn crisps.
In lieu of a traditional welcome letter, the couple opted for a small insert card to match the design of the stickers on the outside of the boxes, simply saying "Welcome to DC! Enjoy your stay. Love, Christine & Trevor"
And of course, Pellegrino, Advil and spearmints round out this classy DC gift design. A huge congrats to the bride and groom and thank you for the opportunity to assemble and deliver your welcome gifts! We love how they turned out!
