Oh goodness, if ever a place existed that could guarantee an immediate case of furniture envy, it would be the Tidewater Inn. Melanie Bennett oversees all events at this absolutely beautiful venue in the heart of historic Easton. She invited me to partner with the Inn and display some examples of Marigold & Grey custom wedding welcome gifts at their annual Wedding Tasting Event this past weekend. I ended up visiting twice in preparation for the event and each time, I'm totally convinced my blood pressure was elevated. Why, you ask? I spotted the absolute perfect shade of grey paint, some of my favorite Restoration Hardware pieces, all tastefully combined with some pretty amazing antiques. And that was just on the first floor. Ahh. I could go on and on. But instead, I'll force myself to stay on topic and share with you our Maryland-inspired display.
A huge thanks to Melanie and her staff for this lovely invitation. I was super honored and can't wait to work with their brides-to-be on their welcome gifts!
